📖 민수기 35장 9-15절 (개역개정)

9절여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되

10절이스라엘 자손에게 말하여 그들에게 이르라 너희가 요단을 건너 가나안 땅에 들어가거든

11절너희를 위하여 성읍을 정하여 도피성을 삼되, 부지중에 사람을 죽인 자가 그리로 피하게 하라

12절이는 보복할 자의 손에서 도피하는 성읍이 되어야 할 것이니, 사람을 죽인 자가 회중 앞에 서서 판결을 받기까지 죽지 않게 할 것임이라

13절너희가 줄 성읍 중에 도피성을 여섯을 두되

14절요단 이쪽에서 세 성읍을 두고, 가나안 땅에서 세 성읍을 두어 도피성이 되게 하라

15절이 여섯 성읍은 이스라엘 자손과 타국인과 이스라엘 중에 있는 거류민을 위하여 도피성이 되리니, 부지중에 살인한 모든 자가 그리로 도피할 수 있으리라

📖 Numbers 35:9–15 (NIV)

9 Then the Lord said to Moses:10 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you cross the Jordan into Canaan,11 select some towns to be your cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone accidentally may flee.12 They will be places of refuge from the avenger, so that anyone accused of murder may not die before they stand trial before the assembly.13 These six towns you give will be your cities of refuge.14 Give three on this side of the Jordan and three in Canaan as cities of refuge.15 These six towns will be a place of refuge for Israelites, for foreigners residing among them and for anyone else living among them—so that anyone who has killed another accidentally can flee there.
